Sea Glass and Stone Setting Jewelry Workshops (ages 18+)

Instructor: Gayton Arrigotti
This is a soldering and stone setting class. You’ll learn to make bezels and set beach glass or stones into a sterling silver pendant or ring. Soldering experience is helpful, but not necessary. Please bring your beach glass or loose stones if you have any, as well as your glasses if needed. All other tools and materials will be supplied. Jewelry Making Techniques: Metals and Stones (ages 18+)

Instructor: Gayton Arrigotti
Beginning and Intermediate students are welcome. Metal working techniques of sawing, filing, drilling, polishing, patination, riveting, soldering, stone setting, and more will be taught. With these techniques in hand you can design and make your own handmade jewelry. Class size will be limited so that you will have personal attention. We will work with Silver, Copper, & Brass metals. Each technique will be demonstrated. Tools and materials will be supplied or bring your own instructor. You will make a pair of earrings, a bracelet & a stone ring. The class is project oriented so that you can use the skills learned to create your own designs. This is a great class for a larger overview of jewelry making. Learn to Draw I & III (ages 55+)

Instructor: Claudia Marshall
Learn to Draw Class I is a beginning class and focuses on the basic techniques of perspective, dimension, and shadowing. 

Learn to Draw III has the prerequisite of Drawing II (not offered this session) and focuses on the color concepts of hue, tint and shade in combination with the techniques developed in Drawing I and II.

Class I Fees: $100 (6 classes) plus $15 materials fee paid directly to the instructor
Class III Fees: $100. (6 classes) plus $15 materials fee paid directly to the instructor

Sewing Solutions

Instructor: Jane Hillhouse
Basic machine use; students must provide sewing machine and necessary supplies, thread, fabric, etc. Participants will learn how to create an apron, table cloth, or other simple projects. For supply list, please email instructor, jane@finalfootprint.com.
