Strength Training Basics (ages 18+)

All levels of fitness are welcome! Learn the fundamentals of strength training using your body weight, resistance bands, and kettlebells. Includes instruction on: core, squat, push, hip hinge, and pulling movements, modified to your personal fitness and experience level. Strength training builds muscular strength, bone density, and improves the ability to perform basic daily activities. Because the class size will remain small, you’ll get lots of hands-on time with the coach. Injuries, medical conditions and limitations will be discussed beforehand, so you can still learn to move your body safely and enjoy exercise! Martial Arts for Youngsters (All ages)

Learn  all aspects of martial arts from kicking and punching to throws and  pins, submission holds, and weapons in the coastside's oldest and only  comprehensive Martial Arts School - Kuk Sool Won. Healthy for Life (ages 60+)

Instructor: Lindsay Walker
Healthy for Life is an all levels fitness class, that will improve strength, endurance and your ability to perform Activities of Daily Living. Suitable for anyone wanting a challenging but low-impact workout. Focus is on fun, safety, and improvement. Please wear proper footwear, bring a water bottle and small towel. The towel will be used for some strengthening exercises.

Pickleball (all ages)

Pickleball  is a fun and energetic racquet sport that combines elements of  badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use  paddles to hit a ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport  shares features with other racquet sports, including the dimensions and  layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis with a  few modifications.  

Class Fees: $2 Drop-In, or $20 for a Picklepass (12 drop-ins)

Aqua Kickboxing

Junior High School Yoga (ages 11-14)

This series of yoga classes allows junior high school age students to learn and practice the tools of yoga in community with one another. Students will experience increased strength and flexibility, improved mental clarity and focus, reduced stress and anxiety, relaxation, and inner courage and confidence. All levels are welcome!
