Pacific Coast TV Media Workshop (ages 8-17)

Instructor: Pacific Coast TV staff

Classes  provided by the local community TV station will show participants how  to use a camera, microphone, and lights to record interviews, events,  and happenings in the community. Learn how to edit and produce videos,  and gain hands-on experience. Check out professional gear to create  projects and work on live productions.  Become a member of Pacific Coast  TV in order to check out gear and join the classes. Introduction to Game Development (ages 7-12)

Instructor: Digital Monkey School

This  is a wonderful opportunity for students of all levels to be introduced  to the art of computer games and to discover how they are made.   Students will learn 3D modeling animation, populate their world with  custom avatars and monsters, and build unique characters, items, and  power-ups.  Students will learn to program custom behaviors, events,  triggers, and game rules.  In this class, children will use their  creativity and imagination and will develop their 3-dimensional  perception, cognitive skills, and fine motor skills.  Each student will  have a personal station.  This class is great for both beginners and  continuing students.  For more information, please contact the  instructor at digitalmonkeyschool@gmail.com prior to enrolling.

Bridge For All (ages 16+)

Instructor: Maria Grigorieff

Bridge  is one of the greatest card games of all time, and can be enjoyed by  all ages! The Coastside Women’s Club is inviting women and men to play  bridge with us . - it’s open to anyone who can play a basic game of  bridge.  With enough players, we plan to offer two games simultaneously.   The first is for individual players who will change partners every  four hands of bridge.  For those who sign up with a partner, we’ll offer  a duplicate bridge game to test your skills.  All proceeds from this  activity will be used for scholarships for Half Moon Bay High School  graduates and grants for Coastside charities.  For more information,  please contact the Instructor at mariagrigorieff@gmail.com prior to enrolling.

STEM FUNdamentals Camp with LEGO© Materials (ages 5-11)


Instructor: Play-Well TEKnologies

Kids will power on their engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO© parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as bulldozers, hovercrafts, hot air balloons, and the Eiffel Tower! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.
