Community Invited to Participate in Poplar Beach Gateways "Alternatives Workshop"
Half Moon Bay, CA - The Half Moon Bay Parks and Recreation Commission invites the community to join with them in a discussion about proposed elements of the Poplar Beach Gateways Project.
Poplar Beach Gateways is a planning project for the Poplar Beach and bluffs area, intended to improve parking and access, address erosion and bluff restoration, create gateway elements, and more.
Wednesday, April 24, 2019, 6 pmHalf Moon Bay Library, 620 Correas StreetLight refreshments will be served
The first part of the workshop will be an open house where community members can learn more about the project. It's an opportunity for people to visit several different information tables, explore concepts on display boards, evaluate possible alternative elements, ask questions, and note their selections among the potential options for Poplar Beach Gateways.
Following the approximately half-hour open house portion of the workshop, there will be a staff presentation providing further context for the project and additional details on the potential alternatives. Public comment and a Parks and Recreation Commission discussion will follow the staff presentation.
