Slurry Seal Street Improvements - July 26, 30, 31

PG&E is completing their Gas Main and Lateral Replacement Project in the Arleta Park Subdivision by placing a “slurry seal” on the streets affected by their work.  “Slurry Seal” is made of asphalt oil and finely crushed rock. The slurry seal will improve the appearance of the street and extend the pavement’s useful life.

The slurry seal work will take place on Thursday July 26, Monday July 30, and Tuesday July 31. On the date the slurry seal is applied, the affected street will be closed to all traffic, including bicycles, and driveways will be inaccessible between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.  Residents on the affected streets have been notified, and signage has been placed to notify residents, motorists, and bicyclists of the limited access.
